Taylor Dayne, born Leslie Wunderman on March 7, 1962, in Long Island, New York, is an American singer who gained prominence in the music industry beginning in the late 1980s. She released her first singles, "Tell Me Can You Love Me" and "I'm the One You Want," shortly after graduating from high school. However, her 1987 hit "Tell It to My Heart" marked the beginning of her rise to stardom, establishing her as a significant figure in dance music.

Throughout her career, Dayne achieved considerable success on the charts, securing seven US Top 10 singles, including "Prove Your Love," "I'll Always Love You," and "With Every Beat of My Heart." Her albums, particularly Tell It to My Heart (1988) and Can't Fight Fate (1989), received 2× Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Collectively, she has sold over 75 million albums and singles globally, with additional hits such as "Love Will Lead You Back" and "Heart of Stone."
