Stevie Nicks, born in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1948, has become one of rock music’s most recognizable and successful voices, both as a solo artist and as a key member of Fleetwood Mac. Her musical journey began at an early age, performing at her parents' tavern when she was just four years old. As a teenager, she began writing songs and soon joined her first band, The Changing Times, while still in high school.

Before joining Fleetwood Mac, Nicks and her friend Lindsey Buckingham gained popularity with their band Fritz, which they formed during their high school years. Their joint efforts culminated in the release of Buckingham-Nicks, their debut album in 1973, which played a significant role in paving the way for Fleetwood Mac to emerge as one of the most iconic bands of the 1970s. In recognition of her significant contributions to music, Nicks made history as the first woman to be inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998 and again as a solo artist in 2019. Her work has garnered eight Grammy Award nominations and two American Music Awards nominations.
