Celtic Woman is an internationally renowned all-female Irish musical ensemble that first came together in 2004, conceived by David Downes, the former musical director of Riverdance. Initially formed for a one-time event in Dublin, the ensemble showcased a blend of traditional Celtic songs and contemporary pieces infused with a Celtic flair, akin to artists such as Enya and Clannad. With the addition of a talented fiddler, M?ir?ad Nesbitt, the group adopted the name Celtic Woman and set off on a journey that would soon captivate audiences worldwide.
