Ringo Starr, born Richard Starkey on July 7, 1940, in Liverpool, Lancashire, England, faced a challenging childhood marked by various illnesses, including appendicitis and pleurisy, which significantly interrupted his education. Unable to attend school regularly, Ringo turned to music, immersing himself in the vibrant Liverpool music scene. In 1957, he and his friend Eddie Miles formed the Clayton Skiffle Group, a venture that laid the groundwork for his musical career.
