Growing up in a musical family, with her father Ken Caillat being a co-producer for iconic bands like Fleetwood Mac, it was no surprise that Colbie was drawn to music from an early age. She began taking vocal and piano lessons in elementary school and took the stage for the first time in sixth grade.
