Donald Hugh Henley, born on July 22, 1947, is an iconic American musician known for being a founding member of the legendary rock band Eagles, where he serves as the drummer and co-lead vocalist. His musical journey began when Glenn Frey invited him to join the backup band for Linda Ronstadt, an experience that laid the groundwork for the formation of the Eagles. Together, they brought in Randy Meisner and Bernie Leadon, creating a powerhouse lineup that would go on to define the sound of 1970s rock.
