The Avett Brothers are an American folk rock band hailing from Concord, North Carolina, formed by brothers Scott and Seth Avett. They are joined by band members Bob Crawford (double bass, electric bass, violin, backing vocals) and Joe Kwon (cello, backing vocals), along with touring musicians Mike Marsh (drums), Tania Elizabeth (fiddle), and Bonnie Avett-Rini (piano).
