Vince Gill has long been considered one of country music's finest leading men.

Turn the clocks back to 1976 when country boy Vince Gill moved to California to join the popular band Pure Prairie League. Vince Gill's songwriting talent was on showcase for the band's 1980 release, Firin' Up. It featured six songs by Gill, including the No. 1 country hit "Let Me Love You Tonight."

In 1984, Vince Gill released his major-label debut, Turn Me Loose. Later that year, Vince Gill took home the Academy of Country Music's Top New Male Vocalist Award. Vince Gill's impressive six-string work also kept him busy a session guitarist, playing with Reba McEntire, Emmylou Harris, Rosanne Cash, and Bonnie Raitt.

In 1989, Gill released, When I Call Your Name, which would go on to sell over two million copies. The title track earned Gill a 1990 Grammy Award for Best Country Song. Vince Gill's next two albums, Pocket Full of Gold from 1991 and 1992's I Still Believe in You also sold millions.

Vince Gill offered the Top 10 singles "What the Cowgirls Do" and "Whenever You Come Around," on 1994's When Love Finds You. High Lonesome Sound hit shelves in 1996 and The Key in 1998, while Let's Make Sure We Kiss Goodbye dropped in 2000. Vince Gill released Next Big Thing in 2003 and These Days in 2006.
