Bowling for Soup is an American rock band formed in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1994. The band originally consisted of Jaret Reddick, Chris Burney, Erik Chandler, and Lance Morrill. Before forming Bowling for Soup, the members had performed with other bands and had crossed paths several times. The band's debut album, "Bowling for Soup," was released in 1994, followed by "Cell Mates" in 1996 and "Rock on Honorable Ones!!" in 1997. The latter caught the attention of Jive Records, and the band signed with the label.

The band's lineup changed over the years, with Gary Wiseman replacing Morrill on drums in 1999 and Rob Felicetti later joining on bass. Bowling for Soup has released several albums, including "Let's Do It for Johnny!!" (2000), "Drunk Enough to Dance" (2002), "A Hangover You Don't Deserve" (2004), and "Sorry for Partyin'" (2009). The band has had several hit singles, such as "Girl All the Bad Guys Want," "1985," and "High School Never Ends."

Bowling for Soup has contributed music to various films and television shows, including the Disney movie "Sky High" and the theme song for the Disney Channel's "Phineas and Ferb." The band has toured extensively and has performed at several festivals, including the Download Festival.
